Most prenatal and postpartum advice is either "take it easy" or "listen to your body." Neither tells you whether you can still lift, run, surf, or kite this week.

I'm a Doctor of Physical Therapy with pelvic floor training, and an athlete myself. I work with pregnant and postpartum women who want real answers and a plan, from the first trimester to a return-to-sport date after birth. I also see women through pelvic floor symptoms and menopause.

Pregnancy

  • Training safely in every trimester
  • Pelvic, hip, and back pain
  • Pelvic floor prep for birth
  • Keeping your sport as long as it's safe
  • Diastasis and core changes

Postpartum and beyond

  • Return to running, lifting, and sport
  • Leaking, pressure, or prolapse symptoms
  • Recovery after C-section
  • Painful sex after birth
  • Menopause

Two ways to work together

One-on-one care

Private sessions at your home, at Tribe Fitness on Columbus Avenue, or online, starting with a 90-minute assessment. Postpartum, I see clients as early as two weeks after birth.

Bump & Back, the 12-week program

A weekly small group of women at the same stage (8 max, on Zoom), a 1:1 with me every other week, your home plan by trimester or weeks postpartum, and evening workshops. Bump is for any trimester. Back starts from 2 weeks postpartum with a return-to-sport plan that has a date on it. $1,800, or 3 payments of $625. See Bump & Back.

What it costs

Everyone starts with a 90-minute assessment ($250): a full-body movement assessment, hands-on treatment, and your first loaded session in the same visit. You leave with a written plan. Follow-ups are 60 minutes ($250) at your home or at Tribe Fitness on Columbus Avenue, or virtual ($150) from anywhere.

I'm out of network. Pay directly with HSA or FSA, and I provide a superbill after every session. Most clients with out-of-network benefits get 60 to 70 percent back.

Common questions

Before you book.

When should I start prenatal physical therapy?

Any time, and earlier is better. The first trimester is a great time to build your plan.

How soon after birth can I start?

I see clients as early as two weeks postpartum, including after a C-section.

Can I keep doing my sport while pregnant?

Often, yes, with the right changes. We work out what's safe for you, trimester by trimester, so you never have to guess.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

No. California allows direct access to physical therapy, so you can book with me directly. If your insurance needs a referral for reimbursement, I'll help you sort that out on our free call.

Do you take insurance?

I'm out of network, which is what makes 60 to 90 minute one-on-one sessions possible. Pay with HSA or FSA, and I give you a superbill after every session. Most clients with out-of-network benefits get 60 to 70 percent back.

Different for a season. Not different forever.
