Virtual PT and online training · Anywhere in the world

Virtual physical therapy and online training, from anywhere.

Not in San Francisco, chasing wind on a kite trip, or home with a newborn? Train one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy over video, wherever you are.

Dr. Emmy Haw, PT, DPT60 minutes over video · $150HSA/FSA eligible

Virtual PT isn't a video library or a chatbot. It's a live, 60-minute session with me, Dr. Emmy Haw, a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I watch you move, coach you through your rehab progressions in real time, and update your program before we hang up.

Much of physical therapy is assessment, education, and the right exercise at the right dose, and all of that works well over video. It's also the easiest way to keep momentum between in-person sessions, or to stay on track while you travel.

How it works

1. Book and set up

Book a virtual session and you'll get a video link. Have a little floor space, your phone or laptop propped where I can see you, and any equipment you have (bands, weights, or nothing at all).

2. Assess and coach

We talk through your history and goals, then I assess how you move and coach you through each exercise, adjusting form and load in real time.

3. Leave with a plan

You leave with a program built for your space and equipment, and we progress it every session.

What it costs

Virtual sessions are 60 minutes for $150, including your first one. If you're in San Francisco and want hands-on treatment too, you can start with the 90-minute in-person assessment ($250) and mix in virtual follow-ups. Pregnant or postpartum? Bump & Back is a 12-week program with a weekly small group on Zoom and a 1:1 with me every other week ($1,800).

I'm out of network. Pay directly with HSA or FSA, and I provide a superbill after every session. Most clients with out-of-network benefits get 60 to 70 percent back.

Common questions

Before you book.

Does virtual physical therapy actually work?

For many problems, yes. Assessment, education, and a well-dosed exercise program are the core of most physical therapy, and all of them work over video. If you need hands-on treatment, I'll tell you and we can combine virtual and in-person sessions.

Can you do pelvic floor physical therapy virtually?

Yes, much of it. Breathing, coordination, pressure management, and return to running or lifting all work well over video. An internal exam isn't possible virtually, and it's never required.

How much does a virtual session cost?

$150 for 60 minutes. HSA and FSA cards work, and I provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement.

What do I need?

A phone or laptop with a camera, a stable connection, and enough floor space to lie down. Equipment is optional.

I don't live in California. Can I still work with you?

Yes. I coach clients anywhere in the world online, with strength, mobility, and performance programs built by a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Physical therapy treatment itself depends on where you're located, so we'll confirm the right setup for you on a free 10-minute call.
