Most sports injuries don't fail in rehab. They fail in the gap between "it doesn't hurt anymore" and "I'm strong enough to go all in again." That's where people re-injure.

I'm Dr. Emmy Haw, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a lifelong athlete. I played on the under-18 Olympic soccer team and these days I'm usually kiteboarding or wingfoiling. I built Full Send to close that gap: one doctor, one plan, from your first session until you're performing again.

Sessions are one-on-one, 60 to 90 minutes, with no hand-off to an aide or a separate trainer who doesn't know your history.

Who I work with

  • Kiteboarders, surfers, and foilers
  • Tennis, padel, soccer, and golf
  • Climbers, runners, and cyclists
  • Post-surgical return to sport
  • 60+ athletes who want to keep going

What I treat

  • Ankle sprains and knee injuries, including meniscus
  • Shoulder and elbow pain, tendinitis
  • Hip, groin, and hamstring injuries
  • Low back and neck pain that keeps coming back
  • Recovery after surgery (knee, shoulder, spine)

How it works

1. Assess

90 minutes. We start with your story, then I look at how you move, not just where it hurts. The spot that hurts is often not the spot causing it.

2. Rebuild

Hands-on treatment to calm things down, then strength so the change actually holds. Every session is treatment and training in the same hour.

3. Perform

Pain-free is the starting line, not the finish. We keep training until you're back to full strength and doing the thing you love.

What it costs

Everyone starts with a 90-minute assessment ($250): a full-body movement assessment, hands-on treatment, and your first loaded session in the same visit. You leave with a written plan. Follow-ups are 60 minutes ($250) at your home or at Tribe Fitness on Columbus Avenue, or virtual ($150) from anywhere. For a result with a date on it, The Full Send 12 is a 12-week program of twice-weekly sessions with DEXA and VO2 max testing at the start and end ($4,800).

I'm out of network. Pay directly with HSA or FSA, and I provide a superbill after every session. Most clients with out-of-network benefits get 60 to 70 percent back.

★★★★★

"I had seen two other PTs who were unable to help me with my hip pain. I saw improvement after our first session and she had me back on the water within days."

Common questions

Before you book.

Do I have to stop training while I rehab?

Usually not. We keep you moving and training around the injury wherever it's safe. In The Full Send 12 program, if I ever have to tell you to fully stop your sport, the rest of the program is free.

What makes this different from clinic PT?

You see me, a Doctor of Physical Therapy, for the full session, every session. Treatment and strength training happen in the same hour, and I stay with you past pain-free until you're back to full performance.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

No. California allows direct access to physical therapy, so you can book with me directly. If your insurance needs a referral for reimbursement, I'll help you sort that out on our free call.

Do you take insurance?

I'm out of network, which is what makes 60 to 90 minute one-on-one sessions possible. Pay with HSA or FSA, and I give you a superbill after every session. Most clients with out-of-network benefits get 60 to 70 percent back.

Where do sessions happen?

At your home anywhere in San Francisco, at Tribe Fitness on Columbus Avenue, or online over video.

Let's get you back to your sport. Stronger.
