Bumps, Babies and Barbells

Pregnant doesn't mean you have to stop lifting. Strength training is actually shown to help during pregnancy.

Thursday, November 55–7 PM PTTribe Fitness, Union St

Why I made this

Clear answers. No fear.

Too many active women get vague, fear-based advice once they're pregnant. So they stop training, or they push through leaking, pelvic heaviness, and ab separation.

You deserve clear, research-backed guidance instead. This workshop gives you exactly that, in a room with other women asking the same questions.

What you'll learn

Keep lifting, through every trimester and back.

  • Pelvic floor & core. How to activate it, how to relax it, and how to protect your core from ab separation (diastasis).
  • Lifting while pregnant. What's safe, what to modify, and which myths to drop.
  • Birth prep. Perineal massage and simple hip mobility you can start now.
  • Bouncing back. Leaking is common, but not normal. How to return to training after baby.

Who it's for

Active women who want to keep training.

Pregnant, postpartum, or planning a pregnancy. Lifters, runners, surfers, kiters, and anyone who wants to stay strong through it all. All fitness levels welcome.

The format: two hours of short teaching blocks, hands-on practice, then open Q&A. Small group, casual and interactive.
